Scott Walker

General Counsel

Scott Walker has been a practicing attorney for nearly 30 years. He is highly regarded by his peers and clients as a business lawyer and litigator, and has been named as an Ohio “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers magazine. Scott graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University in 1991 and earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of law in 1994, graduating in the top 5% of his class.

He began his legal career by serving our country in the United States Army JAG Corps, spending much of his four-year active duty time at Fort Hood, Texas. He moved back to Ohio in 1999 and joined the international law firm of Jones Day as an associate in the litigation section. He went on to take a similar position at another international firm, Squire Patton Boggs, in 2007 and then parlayed his collective experience into establishing his own central Ohio law firm, Walker Novack Legal Group.

Scott has been a music lover his entire life and grew up singing in church and school choirs while also taking on drumming as a passionate hobby. During college he held side jobs as a sound engineer at local music venues and he continues to be an avid supporter of local musicians and bands.

He has judged a number of “battle of the bands” competitions over the years and has represented local musicians, venues, and rock bands as clients, including drafting and negotiating performance contracts for national acts. Scott has been singing karaoke socially since college and recently ventured into the world of competitive karaoke, winning KWCUSA Ohio 1st place honors and earning a spot in the 2022 National Finals.
